I totally agree about the "Where's Gagne" thread. It was all out of love, but it got to the point where Bob would post, and we'd all just ignore him and make a comment about his Norris-ness. Not maliciously, but because we were having fun. Problem is, it was rude. Once Bobby reminded us he was a real dude who wanted to have conversations with us, rather than just have us talk nonsense at him, we all figured out how to handle it. A lot of people here have their own "thing"; mine is that I'm a bit of a loose cannon; Iso's is that he's way too into Jeff Hardy; Barb's is that she's the one level-headed Phillies fan in the world ( ); Truck's is that we're all just waiting for him to come out of the closet. Well, Bob, yours is that you're our Superman. Part of it was random, and you just happened to be the name that came up, but it only stuck because it's kind of fitting. You've been through more than a lot of us have been, and yet you're still kickin'. That's pretty badass.

OK, I was actually curious about something: have you ever considered furniture-making professionally? That was an excellent piece you make for Denise there, and you said you did it with hand-tools. Hand-crafted stuff like that can, if you do it well enough, sell for big bucks. Have you ever done any market research or anything? I ask because it's good, and also because I've always wished I could build stuff like that.

Joe. Thanks for the props on the chest. I have considered it many times. But have never had a place to do the building. I built the chect in my parenty's basement. Whent we got married, we lived in a condo for many years. Then, when we bought out house, it was a rancher with no basement or space. I guess what I am saying is tjhat considering it is all I've ever done about it. Now, I am in an apartment. I would have top rent a place to build. My parents dont live in the same house. And, although they are very close to me, their basement is in no condition to do something liek this. I would have to rent space.

Bob, I have heard of people who do that sort of thing as a hobby, even, because it's sort of therapeutic. I dunno. I've even considered taking a crack at it. I think there must be something about building or creating that humans are naturally attracted to, even if they don't have the talent.

Anyway, you clearly do have the talent. That's why I'm surprised you haven't actually gone pro. haha.

That is Tugboat Taylor and his wife. Denise's sister married Tugboat's son, Chaz. Tug owns a wrestling school in the Houston area. Chaz was a wrestler in a small Texas federation, He had a dark match in WWE against Kurt Angle before Kurt appeared on TV.
